What does it do?
The Active Directory license enables anyone performing a Microsoft migration to copy on-premises Active Directory identity objects and OU structures to another Active Directory. Easily provision users and whole OU structures in destination environments to prep for larger migration projects.
Why would you use it?
We created the Active Directory tool to support tenant-to-tenant migration projects that require the presence of user identities at the destination to receive data. As many destination environments have their identities residing in a local Active Directory environment and are using the Azure AD Sync option to provision accounts in the cloud, local AD objects need to be created.
